Here's a thought. Are you going to offer free primium membership to us standard members once a year? I think itit's a good idea! You may get more primium members that way.

I'm sure we'll do it again some time. Maybe for a weekend, maybe for a day, but we'll definitely do it again.

Yeah. That would be a good idea to have it again sometime, even if it's for just for 1 or 2 days at a time. I was even considering going Premium myself because I finally had gotten an idea of what I'd be able to do if Premium. And also if there were new users signed up, they would have an idea of what Premium membership would be like, pretty much. Or (and I don't know how easy/hard this would be), but another idea is that for new members, you could have a short trial period of Premium membership, a week would seem good enough I think. Anyway, the new members would get to sign up or click on this trial period thing when they were ready to do so and check it out. Meaning they would have the same Premium features we had gotten to have for that trial period. I think that also might draw in more Premium members.

that sounds good. I like that idea actually. I don't know what you think J, but i think you should consider it.

JJ, just so you know, the conventional trial period is 30 dy (1 mo). Take that into consideration when setting standard member premium access lengths.

Maybe a premium day randomly handed out as an incentive to becoming premium, or, everyone gets their birthday as a premium member.

For me, the freeby worked. I finally decided to become a premium member during the week of free premium membership for all of us.

From a different thread, the problem with premium for new users is that people will just keep creating accounts. Not all people, but some. But a day in a month isn't terrible, or even a few times in a year. Birthday as premium? Interesting idea, though we've have to put something in to ensure that people don't start switching their birthdays.

Uh well, never thought of that. Can you switch your birthday?

Guess you have to be pretty devious to run a site like this. <lol>

Ya. I guess that's a good idea. You now can't change your birthday. So sad.
